Advanced Actives
Advanced or evolved active abilities transform the cost rather than removing it. The transformation reflects the character's growth or descent.
Example: Rain's base Clone causes acute sensory deprivation. His Perfect Clone removes the immediate sensory cost but introduces a deferred psychological cost. The cost changes form; it does not disappear.
Some advanced abilities are additions to the base form (Vesper can still shatter or melt); others are irreversible transformations (Rain's Clone becomes the Perfect Clone; he cannot revert).
